From now on, every year on May 27, we will mark the Day of the Special Operations Forces – a date that traces its origins back to 2014, when special forces warriors, together with their brothers-in-arms from other units, liberated the new terminal of Donetsk airport on this day and raised the Ukrainian flag over it.
The work of the warriors is not public, but often decisive: precise and well-coordinated actions deep behind enemy lines, the fiercest battles across all sections of the frontline, and devastating strikes on the enemy’s critical infrastructure. We thank you for your strength, reliability, and professionalism.
